About Tonbridge Counselling Hub
High quality professional counselling in the Tonbridge area.
Tonbridge Counselling Hub began with a group of counsellors who met at a local networking event and discovered a shared philosophy. We were united by a common goal: to make the proven benefits of counselling and psychotherapy accessible within our local community, in a way that is honest, sustainable, and always puts clients first.

We believe that high-quality therapy deserves fair compensation, reflecting the training and expertise of our professionals. At the same time, we’re committed to accessibility — that’s why each of our therapists offers a number of concessionary spaces. These are available to anyone in need, with no proof or paperwork required — just ask, and if a space is available, it’s yours.

Our growing team is experienced, and united by a deep commitment to client care. We prioritise quality in all we do, and actively seek feedback to ensure our services continue to meet your needs and evolve with them.

We look forward to supporting you on your counselling journey.

Joel Bild, MSc, MBACP
Hi, I'm Joel, a therapeutic counsellor and coach working in London, Kent and online, helping individuals with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement/loss, anger, stress, shame, self-esteem and relationship issues, addictions, eating disorders and trauma.

I have extensive experience working with addictions, men's issues, codependency* and relationship issues.
*Codependency is being overly focused on taking care of others at the expense of one's own happiness, often relying on the approval of others for sense of worth.

With a 20+ years career in education and training, I'm passionate about education and all forms of personal growth, supporting people in different contexts to develop themselves and be fulfilled in their lives.

My style is relaxed, friendly, empathic and creative. I love stimulating insight and self-awareness with clients, often using different tools and techniques in sessions to support this.

I charge £80 per session. I also have concessionary places available - please ask about these.

Julie Reeve
Hi, I'm Julie, an integrative counsellor working in Kent.
I work by proving a safe, non-judgmental space to create a healing relationship, in which you can explore your feelings, thoughts and troubles.

I work with you to gain self awareness and understanding, to develop healthier ways of facing the challenges in your life.

I have over 10 years experience of working with adults in long and short term settings. I have worked under the IAPT System in the NHS, worked in end of life care at a local hospice and in a college environment for young adults and teenagers.

I have worked with mental health issues at West Kent Mind and in the counselling service for around 8 years.

I charge £60 per session. I have some concessionary places available - feel free to ask about these.

Helen Bennett
Hello, I’m Helen — an integrative counsellor and coach specialising in menopause, hormonal issues, fertility and women’s health.
I help people navigate times of physical and emotional change and transition, offering support to understand your thoughts and feelings, make meaningful decisions, and come to terms with what can’t be changed. Counselling can support you in finding the self-awareness, compassion, and strength to do this, at your own pace.

My approach is warm, practical, honest and respectful — I’ll meet you without judgement.
My specialist training includes International Menopause Society's IMPART training, British Menopause Society's CBT for Menopause, an Advanced Diploma in Fertility Counselling, The Inside of Autism, ADHD in the Therapy Room, and training on neurodivergence and eating issues. I have a particular interest in how hormones affect neurodivergence.

I’m a BACP Accredited counsellor, a qualified Clinical Supervisor and an EMCC Global Accredited Coach at Senior Practitioner level.

I charge £85 per counselling session. I also offer concessionary places - please feel free to ask about these.
